Muffin Tin Wednesday

No theme this week...just good food!!!
Left to right:
Cheerios, green beans fresh from Pawpaw's garden, cheerios, chik'n tenders (morning star farm veggies), string cheese, and chik'n tenders.
Sometimes I think Max gets overwhelmed with the options, but I think he's getting used to it!!

And of course, Jake loves watching big Bubby eat his muffin tin lunch!!!

Muffin Tin....Tuesday!!!

Since we've got plans tomorrow we decided to do our muffin tin lunch today!!! And we participated in the theme....transportation!!!

So I did a cars theme!! He has wagon wheel pasta in 3 of the bins, string cheese cut in circles, cheerios, and a bun cut like a wheel!!!

Complete with the train bib and cars sippy.

And a special treat for lunch today...watching the movie Cars!!! (it's Max's favorite movie and mommy isn't yet sick of it...so I thought we'd make lunch special!!!

For more muffin tin ideas check out Michelle over at Her Cup Overfloweth!!

Jake's 4 month stats

At 4 months, Mr. Jake is 14 lbs, 8.1 oz, 24 3/4 inches long and has a head circumference of 16 inches. He got 5 vaccinations and took them like a champ!!!

He's my belly sleeper. He's been rolling over for a while and when we put him down on his back he flips immediately to his belly to sleep. He'll still take the paci some, but it is not a necessity and we don't use it at bedtime. I think he'll be a thumb/finger sucker....and it's so cute. He's now just swaddled with his arms out and is sleeping through the night (hope I don't jinx it by saying that out loud!!). He still loves the swing, but I'm not sure how much longer we'll be able to use it.

Jake is really starting to respond to Max. He loves watching him. Jake really wants attention and lets you know if you've been ignoring him too long!! He loves when you talk to him and he'll be happy to join in and talk back!!!

He is still just a little fussy in the evenings. We've been playing with moving up his bedtime (hopefully without disturbing that wonderful sleeping through the night) and it seems to be helping him get through that witching hour.

Baby Jake- mommy, daddy and big bro Max love you so much!!! You are our smiley baby and such a wonderful addition to our family!!!

Muffin Tin Wednesday

It's a party theme over at Michelle's Muffin Tin Monday post. We're not too festive...I'll try to do better with the theme next week!!!
But Max is getting the hang of the muffin tins...even daddy tried one on monday (but we didn't get pics!!)

I have learned that the "dip" needs to be removable because with Max sometimes its a hit, and others its just something to play in!!!

This weeks party guests: Cheerios, string cheese, BBQ sauce, nuggets, beech nut snacks and more nuggets.

Jake wants to know when he'll get his own muffin tin lunch!!!

Jake is 4 Months old!!!

Another month has flown by!!! I can't believe it!!!

and Max still loves his baby brother!!!

I'll have to add his 4 month stats later!!!
