4 weeks!!!

Look who is 4 weeks old!!!

And look who wants to love on his baby brother!!!

Baby Jake had his 1 month appt today and weighs 8lb 4oz!!! We're so excited with how well he's doing and how much he's growing!!!

Of course, Max continues to amaze us every day with his chatter, words, and discovery!!! He is learning new concepts every day!!!

3 weeks, arts and crafts and various updates

Yup- it's been 3 weeks!!! Baby Jake is growing up!!!

He seems to really be chunking up- his cheeks are fuller and he eats like a champ!! I can't wait to see how he does at his 1 month appt next week!!!

We've been doing "craft" projects with Max in the afternoons. Sometimes it works out well and other times it doesn't. Yesterday we did Color Wonder markers -color wonder products are great because of no mess. Crayons, however, Max eats!!!

And in other news....

Max is a champ at feeding himself!!!

Jake's first bath!!!

The little man got his first real bath last night!!!

He doesn't like being cold!!!

Bubby wasn't sure what all the fuss was about!!!

It was a total flashback- he looked just like Max in the tub to me!!!

And I think he's gonna have curls like big brother!!! (at least I hope so!!)

So sweet!!!

This happened yesterday and was probably one of the sweetest moments I've witnessed!! Of course I missed the actual kiss and may not be able to replicate that for a while- but Max is definitely more aware of "baby Jake" now. He loves to pet him, touch him, and maybe even poke him when we're not looking. Jake of course is a trooper and just puts up with it!! Max loves to say "hiiiiiii" to Jake and Jake just looks at him in return!!! It's gonna be so exciting to watch these two boys grow up together!!!

Jake is 2 weeks old!!! (well, yesterday)

After church on Easter Sunday we went up to 'the farm' where Grandma E grew up. Max loves it there!!!

Max wasn't sure what to think of the cows....

My cousin hosts an Easter Egg Hunt for all the cousins and this is the first year we've participated!!! Max didn't really care about the eggs- once he had one in each hand to shake he was good to go!!!

He did enjoy the outside though!!!

Overdue for an update....

Haven't had much time to blog- but everything is going great!!! Max is a great big brother (well, when he even notices Jake) and Jake is a wonderful baby!!!

I'll try to update with more pics and stories soon, but I just wanted you to see this pic of the boys!!! We took Jake to his 1st pedi appointment and Max was so excited when we got home with him.
